THE CHEMPUTRONIUM PLATFORM
What Is Chemputronium?
Chemputronium is a two part coating that turns a patterned space between copper pads into a tiny analog compute element. One part stores a state as an electrical resistance that you set with pulses (memristor).

The memory is one time programmable with the help of DC pulses, utilizing a write verify scheme.
The other part shapes the readout so it behaves like a diode, near zero below a knee, linear above it. This integrated diode can be used as a sneak current prevention mechanism or as a RELU function.
Chain many together and you get the building blocks of RELU based MLP networks.

One Robust Platform
Chemputronium comes in a permanent one time programmable material. It utilizes a two-part ink system and a low temperature, PCB friendly process.

CHEMPUTRONIUM-WORM (Write-Once-Read-Many):
You program the conductance once, then run a hard lock. The weight is permanent and robust for field deployments.
Advantages
-
Built-in RELU nonlinearity for MLPs
-
Built-in sneak current prevention for large arrays
-
Works on FR-4/PI/glass/silicon coupons
-
UV + low-temp bake (below 150 Celsius)
-
No exotic lithography (i-Line lithography)
